Roads & Rides founder Robert Angelo has always had a thing for cars. Growing up in Southern California, Robert was surrounded by car culture and developed a passion for the roar of an engine and the feeling of acceleration, and exhilaration, on an open highway.Prior to developing Road & Rides, Angelo served as Vice President, Product and Production, for NBC Digital Entertainment. In addition to overseeing product development across web-based and mobile platforms, Angelo also spent over six years producing weekly online segments of Jay Leno’s Garage for JayLenosGarage.com. During Robert’s tenure, Jay Leno’s Garage received a 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Short-Form Non-Fiction Program.Prior to joining NBC, Angelo worked at Quokka Sports building websites for the Sydney and Salt Lake Olympic Games, and also worked at Disney Interactive Group. A California native, Angelo earned his bachelor’s degree from The Academy of Art in San Francisco. He currently resides in Sherman Oaks, California with his wife, son and two dogs.
